STEVE LOWDEN
DRUMS, GUITAR, VOCALS
Steve Lowden started playing drums at the age
of 13 and played in such bands as The Lowden Brothers Band, The
Insiders, The Pawns, Swingset and The Avengers. In the 90's he
played acoustic guitar and vocals with Lisa at local coffee houses
and they were known as "Instant Karma".
Currently in an acoustic band with Lisa,
NIGHTFALL.
Steve's musical influences
are The Beatles, The Kinks, Buffalo Springfield and The Byrds. |
TED PARIS BASS GUITAR
Ted Paris
started playing in Rochester bands in the late 1960’s. Most notable among these was “Rain”. This band signed with RCA Victor record company in 1970. Rain recordings can still be found on
Youtube and the CD from 1970 is available through
Amazon. Since that time, Ted has played with
numerous Rochester bands, among these included: Spice,
The Avengers, The Dukes, and the Gateswingers. Ted has also worked with the Coupe de
Villes, and the Fred Vine Blues Band to name a few.
Just released in 2012, Ted played on two cuts on Joan
Burtons new CD, The Long Road. Teds musical influences include: James Jameson(Motown), John Paul Jones, (Led
Zeppelin),
John Entwhistle (The Who), and local celebrity ,Ralph Ortiz.

DAN FRANK
GUITAR, VOCALS
Dan Frank picked up his first guitar at age 13 and taught
himself to play while listening to his older brothers’ record
collections which were full of Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, and
many, many other groups and genres of the late 60s/early 70s era.
Dan became and remains an avid record collector of a plethora of
styles ranging from Blues, R&B, and Jazz to Punk and of course (his
passion) Garage Rock of the 60s. Dan played in various bands during
high school and into his early 20s. In 1984, he became lead
guitarist and vocalist with one of Rochester’s most beloved Garage
Rock bands, “The Projectiles”. In the early 90s, he played lead
guitar in “The Mental Notes”, “The Quatloos”, and “The Refried
Teens”. In 1995, he was a founding member of “The Riviera Playboys”
and was featured on their first two CDs. In 2002, Dan
then In 2002 went on to form “The Franks,” who recorded an
unreleased LP and upon their breakup in 2005, he created “The True
Believers” who still perform today. Looking to step outside of the
Garage Rock genre, Dan hooked up with the Imaginary Band in April
2012 and is enjoying his role as lead guitarist, as well as
contributing lead and background vocals.

LISA LOWDEN VOCALS, PERCUSSION
Lisa Lowden started singing 14 years ago when
she met Steve and he encouraged her to write her own music. Lisa
performed with Steve as "Instant Karma" at local coffee houses,
performing originals and classic folk. Currently in an acoustic band
with her husband Steve,

influences range from old Genesis, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and
all the soft rock favorites as well as new artists. |
SUSAN JANNECK VOCALS, PERCUSSION
Susan Janneck comes from
a long family history of musicians and began singing professionally
at wedding ceremonies back in the 90's. Her influences range from theatre to classic hits.
Susan's musical influences are Dido, Sarah McLachlan, Tara McLean,
The Cowboy Junkies, Heart, The Cranberries and The Sundays. |
